QKD Horse Whisperer Card

Isn’t she great. You can get her over at Queen Kat Designs shop. Her name is the “Horse Whisperer”. She is one of the August releases.

This card is using a piece of paper that I stamped using the second generation technique but I  sprayed it with water. It was a test and I didn’t want to waste the ink that was left on the stamp after I had done some other BG’s.

The flowers are from Prima the ribbon is some seam binding that I dyed and the butterfly is punched out from a SU punch.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today and that she inspires you to create something new, out of the box for you. Feel free to CASE. May God bless you greatly today.

What I’ve Been up to This Week.......

Well I have been creating like crazy. I have an announcement soon So you can’t see what I’ve been working on until September..... Sorry guys.

Well on Wednesday I finally did it. I have wanted a tattoo for over 10 years but it was never the right timing.

Then I decided I was going to do it for my 30th anniversary. I’m almost 50 years old and I do believe it is time for me to do my hearts desire. My tattoo is of the most important people in my life starting with my savior.

So it Starts with Jesus in my heart and on my pulse. Then it goes to Jerry, my sweet husband, who is my true gift from God.

Then to my 1st born Steven. He is a wonderful man now, I’m very proud of him.  After Steven is Brandon, I couldn’t be any proud of who he has become.

Following Brandon is Royce. He is sunshine on a cloudy day. He has grown into a wonderful man. I’m proud to call him my son.

God had promised me a daughter and 4 years 17 days after Royce she arrived. When we found out I was pregnant Royce called her by her name from the start. She is strong willed and loves the Lord with every ounce of her being. I’m proud of the woman she has become. I’m truly blessed to have this much love in my life.

Mator Card

When I was cleaning off my desk last week I found a sheet of rub-ons they where old but worked for the most part. So I used them on the striped scrap fit perfect. A good reason to use your stuff and not hoard it, when you go to use it it might not work.

Mator was a sticker that I cut the white from around it. It made it pop so much more. I left the paper on the back and added pop dots so it would stand out on the card.

I’m really happy with how this turned out. It was a simple card and if you didn’t cut around him it would be faster to make.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today. Hope he made you smile. May God bless you today.

Ballet......Harder Card.

I have wanted to make this card for a long time. I got the images from Create with TLC. When I was cleaning my desk off on the 16th, I found them and decided today is the day. So I finished my desk so I would have room to make a mess. That is my life.

There is 3 ballerinas in this set. I enjoy working with Paulette’s stuff. Everything for this card was on my desk so I didn’t have to cut anything except for the notches on the banners.

Thank you for visiting today. I hope you enjoyed your stay and you were inspired to create what makes you happy.

QKD, Charles Grim Dez Release.

Here she is again, Grim Dez, from Queen Kat Designs. You can find her over at Queen Kat Designs store
My daughter looked at her and said “mom, she needs to be in a kissing booth. You know for the kiss of death.” So her is the kiss of death. I have know idea who you would give this to, but I’m sure someone would.
I used retired designer paper from Stampin’ Up and the branches embossing folder on their soft suede card stock to make the booth. I did double pop dots for the curve of the canopy.
I hope you enjoyed your visit today and that come back again soon. Don’t forget to go check at Charles  stuff over at the Queens store. Thank you and may God bless your day.

Kiwilane Butterfly card

I got a package in the mail from a wonderful company named Kiwi Lane. You need to check out their cool product.

I used it to make the blue parts on this card and the wave at the bottom. The butterflies are punched from the new Stampin’ Up punch. Add some pearls for the body to make them even cuter.

I used the long rectangle die from Spellbinders. The sentiment is from Create with TLC. Another company I love.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you visit these companies, they are wonderful to work with.

This card was entered into two challenges
Craft Your Passion
Outlawz

Blessing Card

She is from Tiddly Inks, Grow a little Love. I am so loving Digital stamps because I can size them however big I want for my cards. Besides that I get them now no having to have patience waiting for it to ship and then arrive. Life is to short to have to wait sometimes. When the inspiration strikes, you have to jump on it.

So the supplies for this card are:
  1. Retired Stampin’ Up paper for the banner
  2. Dyed seam binding
  3. Prima flowers
  4. Scallop punched brown circle
  5. Leaves punched from Stampin’ Up flower punch
  6. Image from Tiddly Inks
  7. Sentiment from TLC Creations
  8. Dimensionals to pop her up
  9. Spectrum markers to color her.
  10. Banner die from Stampin’ Up/Sizzix

The wire curls is attached to the Prima flowers. I didn’t want to cut it off so I wrapped it around a small cuticle stick.

Distressed around the edge of the sentiment with linen ink. I wanted it to stand out some from the white base.

I’m so glad you stopped by today. Thank you for the visit. Many blessing I wish for you today. May your day be a grand adventure.
